Phthalates

Phthalates are found in most commercial fragrances that are not 100% pure unadulterated essential oils. They are commonly used in the cosmetic industry as fixatives to hold fragrances. Most of us are exposed the dangers of phthalates everyday in products such as baby care products, perfumes, cosmetics, shampoos, conditioners, deodorants, shower gels, air fresheners (including plug-ins), laundry and household detergents to mention just a few.
